Thor: Love And Thunder - Both Post-Credits Scenes EXPLAINED
4. Hercules Has Entered The MCU
Zeus isn't planning his revenge alone though, as the first post-credits scene shows that he's recruited the help of Hercules. Name-dropped earlier in the film, we didn't actually get to see Hercules in the flesh. Here, though, audiences get their first glimpse of the MCU's version of the character, along with the revelation that he's being played by none other than Brett Goldstein.
Now, admittedly, the idea of Ted Lasso's Roy Kent entering the MCU is a strange one - and the big reveal here definitely plays into that shock factor - but Goldstein absolutely looks the part. Though his appearance is brief, he undeniably has the physique of a god, and it's a tantalising prospect to imagine him teaming up with Crowe's Zeus in a future movie.
Brett Goldstein is one of the biggest breakout stars of the past few years, so it was probably inevitable that he'd make his way to the Marvel machine some day, but this was still a pleasant surprise.
