Thor: Love And Thunder - Both Post-Credits Scenes EXPLAINED

3. Jane Enters Valhalla

The second post-credit scene is a lot less menacing than the first. Here, we're given one final glimpse of Jane Foster as she enters Valhalla. While it was clear this is where Jane ended up after her body vanished into the ether, it was still an emotionally-satisfying decision to show her spirit moving on.

More so than the other Thor movies, Love and Thunder has a big focus on what happens when an Asgardian dies. Both Lady Sif and Valkyrie discuss dying in battle in order to ascend to Valhalla, but ultimately it's only Jane who reaches it after dying at the centre of the universe. Showing Valhalla itself was a big decision, and it means we may be due more visits in the future.

We always knew that Jane was worthy: a truly good soul who dedicated her life to the betterment of humanity. After her stint as the Mighty Thor though, Jane proved herself as even more than that: an Asgardian, and one who will one day be reunited with Thor in the afterlife.
