2. Heimdall Is Back (Kinda)

Adding an extra wrinkle to Jane's sendoff, the scene shows her being greeted in the beyond by none other than Heimdall, with a surprise cameo appearance from Idris Elba. Heimdall, of course, hasn't been seen in the MCU since being one of Thanos' first victims at the very start of Infinity War.

Still, his presence lingered heavily in Thor: Love and Thunder. While his death wasn't dwelled on, Heimdall's son does play a surprisingly large part of the plot as one of the kidnapped children. His son boasts the same powers as his father, being able to communicate with Thor despite being physically separated.

Thus, after so much talk about his lineage, it's satisfying to see Heimdall one more time, and comforting to know he's there for Jane when Thor can't be.

Who knows if this means we'll see these characters - or at least their spirits - again?
