18. Fandrall & Volstagg

Though they were completely absent from the marketing, the Warriors Three do all appear in Ragnarok, but they're basically treated like an unfortunate loose end from the last film that requires tying up as quickly as possible. That can be the only explanation for how Fandral and Volstagg are treated.

Rather than being the legendary warriors of old, they're given very little screen-time at all, and their appearance at all feels like little more than a cursory addition. Neither Fandral nor Volstagg actually offer anything to the plot, and there's no real emotional pay-off to their parts either.

Meanwhile, Lady Sif doesn't even appear, despite some talk that she was initially supposed to. Obviously an invasion of her home wasn't enough to bring her back?
