1. How Long Are Thor & Loki Going To Team Up For?
Loki is probably my favourite villain to have inhabited the frames of the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far: I like that he's conflicted, Shakespearean in scope, and exists for more reasons than to just blow things up (though, to be fair, he's done his fair share of that). These qualities makes him far more interesting to watch, because you never know where they're going to take the character - as witnessed by this very trailer, in fact, which makes a point of telling us that, yes, Thor and his brother are going to team up to try and stop the world from going to hell. Woo! This is an interesting plot twist, given that Loki was main bad guy in
The Avengers. But the relationship between Thor and Loki remains a genuinely interesting one, because we know that there's some love deep down - unfortunately there's a lot of jealously, too, which means that these two have to fight. A lot. Still, as seen here, Loki looks like he's on the brink of death. He's pale, thin, his hair is, uh, "lacking body" - the poor guy looks like he's just gone into rehab. A plot with these two characters having to set aside their differences to drive the greater good is sure to be a great one, though. I really can't wait.
