Tom Holland's Movies Ranked Worst To Best
4. Onward
The second animated movie in a row, Onward is a Pixar film that combines a love of fantasy role-playing games with a charming world that's already halfway into one. Onward follows two elf brothers, Ian (Tom) and Barley (fellow MCU star Chris Pratt) as they seek to address the absence of their father from their lives.
Ian learns the mostly forgotten art of magic and follows his brother Barley on a quest around their home city of New Mushroomton in order to resurrect their father for one night so that they can both say goodbye to him properly.
Part traditional Pixar family focussed entertainment with customary depth and part nerd-tastic D&D player's holy grail, Onward manages to keep up a rollicking pace and adorable characters. Unfortunately Onward is one of only two Pixar films (the other is The Good Dinosaur) to be a financial disappointment, but that can largely be laid at the door of a certain Pandemic closing all the theatres just after it opened.
