Tom Holland's Movies Ranked Worst To Best
5. Spies In Disguise
Despite the overly kid-friendly title (spies are usually in disguise... aren't they?), Spies is a fun family film that lures Will Smith to the lucrative world of animated film voice-acting. Our Tom voices Walter, a genius mad scientist who accidently transforms Lance Sterling (the world's most awesome spy, voice by Big Will) into a pigeon. Yes, a pigeon.
A world-hopping adventure that pits Walter and pigeon-Sterling against the cybernetic Killian (voiced by the scenery-chewing Ben Mendelsohn), Spies is about learning to trust yourself, you friends and your instincts. Walter's central impulse is to always find a technological or peaceful solution to a problem, one that rubs him up the wrong way with the more vengeful Sterling at first.
While some of the tropes may be a little tired and the action may be overly silly, this movie wears its heart front and centre and is well worth a watch, no matter your age.
