Tom Holland's Movies Ranked Worst To Best
3. Spider-Man: Homecoming
Our boy gone made it big! The first solo-outing for Tom's Spider-Man was an utterly charming affair that reinvented the classic image of Spider-Man on film and made it younger, hipper and baked into the fabric of the MCU. Characters that are 'joining in late' now have the advantage of stepping into a fully-formed universe that has a vast array of supporting characters available to help them bed in. In this case, we got a star performance by RDJ's Iron Man to form a mentor to Peter as his nascent adventures form.
While the plot of Homecoming is as classic Spider-Man as you can get, villain Vulture is easily one of the MCU's best starting bad-guys. Michael Keaton dominates his scenes as a veteran hand on the tiller, overshadowing Peter in exactly the way needed to make him rise to the challenge.
While both Spider-Man (2002) and The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) had their time in the sun, Peter Parker has a new lease on life with Tom Holland and this is the one that a lot of fans have been waiting a long, long time to see.
