7. Paddy Considine - Dead Man's Shoes
Old friends and frequent collaborators Shane Meadows and Paddy Considine (with additional material by Paul Fraser) made cinematic gold in 2004 with the British thriller Dead Mans Shoes, a tale of anger and revenge. Its Considines first real lead role and has shaped the mans career ever since. Last year he wrote and directed his first feature, Tyrannosaur proving he has some tough, emotional stories to tell, ones which really hit home.
