8. Domino
Based on the exploits of female bounty hunter Domino Harvey, "Domino" is an exploitative guilty pleasure that admits in the opening that most of the movie is fictitious or exaggerated. One of the few films I can sit through from screenwriter Richard Kelly, "Domino" is a really solid action picture starring Keira Knightley as the bored super model who turns bounty hunter, seeking adventure with a crusty Mickey Rourke and the guys from Beverly Hills 90210. Like much of Tarantino's films, it features a very spastic energy, sets its spotlight on many thuggish characters, and tends to go off on its own tangent in terms of narrative. And like Tarantino, Domino is completely fetishized for the audience. Overall the film isn't bad, just don't go in expecting "Kill Bill."
