6. More Stanley Tucci & Li Bingbing
Paramount PicturesThere weren't a lot of likeable characters in Age of Extinction, but two new characters whose banter we actually enjoyed were Stanley Tucci's KSI head Joshua Joyce, and Li Bingbing's factory owner Su Yueming who, despite being reduced to a karate-chopping Asian stereotype, ends up as the hilarious object of Joyce's affections. Tucci is easily the most entertaining thing about the whole movie, even more than the explosions, going completely over-the-top and just enjoying the fact that he's in a Transformers film. Bingbing gets to be the sexy, kick-ass femme, and Joyce's reaction to her turning out to be a bada** is to fall even more wildly in love with her. Watching him run around like a lovesick puppy is incredibly amusing, and the final moments of the movie suggest that perhaps there might be something between them. Hopefully Bay will realise that he's onto two winners here and convince the pair to come back for TF5, because it'd be great to see how they're doing a few years later, and involving them in the plot once again wouldn't necessarily go amiss either.
