8. Different Faces, Same Story

Now that Shia LaBeouf isn€™t famous anymore, it€™s Mark Wahlberg€™s turn to purchase a vehicle that turns out to be Optimus Prime, gawk in astonishment as it battles other Transformers and be chased across America by a shadowy agency. Rosie Huntington-Whitely, John Turturro and Patrick Dempsey don€™t return either, but don€™t fret because their characters have been recycled and watered down. Replacing Victoria€™s Secret model Huntington-Whitely is Nicola Peltz, the real-life daughter of a billionaire, who gets the babe role and is required to€.well, she€™s the lead in a Michael Bay movie. You can imagine which angle he enjoys shooting her from. Standing in for Turturro as the creepy agent who ultimately develops a conscience is Stanley Tucci, who starts out in cahoots with Kelsey Grammer (replacing Dempsey as the villain), then switches sides upon realizing that his plot to clone Megatron will keep the franchise going, and therefore knock the world off its axis.
