5. Transformers Ringtone
Paramount PicturesMere seconds after the outrageous Rainbow Dash cameo, as Joyce is calling lab assistant Gill for help with the Seed, Gill's phone begins to ring, and of course, it's playing a familiar tune: the classic Transformers cartoon theme in MIDI form. Why the dude's phone in this day and age can't play a more complex version of the tune is anyone's guess (perhaps because it would then have to use the lyrics, which would be too meta for this film), but it's still a giggle-worthy reference to the property's better days.
