Tron 3: 10 Things We Need To See

5. More Real World Implications

With Quorra stepping out of the Grid and into the real world by the end of Legacy, the franchise created some scary implications that could have on the world at large, but has thus far merely scratched the surface. Between the digitisation work performed by Lora and the rest of her team in the original film and the suggestion by Kevin to Sam that Quorra's miracle status could open the door to endless possibility, such as curing disease, the ground is paved for how the world would respond to such advancements. As Kevin said, everything becomes up for grabs. Altruistic people could use such knowledge to change the course of human history for the better, but opportunists could use it to make it a whole lot worse, like bringing an endless army created in a Grid into the real world. Quorra is merely the start of dissolving the line between both realms and the franchise shouldn't shy away from embracing the concepts both films have already put forth and running with them to capitalise on the brave new world Legacy left off in.
