The Big Reveal Sam Rockwells protégé con artist has actually been pulling a long con on his teacher, Nicolas Cage. And hes been using an accomplice pretending to be Cages daughter. Why Its So Obvious Matchstick Men is a solid effort from Ridley Scott, especially outside of his sci-fi credits, but it didnt take a genius to see what was really going on here. The reason it was so obvious? Rockwell had played pretty much the exact same role three years earlier in Charlies Angels. The likeable supporting character who reveals hes been duping the main character/s from the get go.
