6. Charlize Theron Hancock
The Big Reveal Charlize Theron is actually a super powerful, essentially immortal being, just like Will Smith. Why Its So Obvious Some actresses get typecast as the loving wife. Others the sultry mistress. Theron has had the uncommon fortune of being typecast as a strong-willed and powerful woman. The trailers did a good job of keeping her character out of the action and saving that for the movie (Im not sure Sonys marketing department would be so willing these days). But it was still easy to see coming a mile off. Charlize Theron doesnt really do the uncomplicated domestic life. Shed been a prostitute-turned-killer in Monster. She was a safecracker in the remake of The Italian Job. And shed starred as a skilled warrior/assassin in Aeon Flux only a few years prior to Hancock. So when she was revealed as a second god-like being in Hancock, it wasnt a huge surprise. (But that doesnt mean it wasnt still cool when the big reveal came.)
