20 Upcoming Movies Absolutely NOBODY Wants

Believe it or not, when we say Road House 2, we're not talking about a sequel to Doug Liman's 2024 Jake Gyllenhaal-starring remake of the classic 1989 Patrick Swayze actioner Road House.

While a sequel to the Gyllenhaal remake has actually already been shot with Ilya Naishuller (Nobody) directing, Liman opted not to return out of protest for Amazon refusing to release the remake theatrically.

But in a truly bizarre twist, Liman has instead decided to pursue his own sequel to the original Swayze film, Road House: Dylan, with a script penned by original writer R. Lance Hill.

This is intended to be a legacy sequel to the '87 Road House, but we'll point it out for the second time on this list - most interest in this evaporated when Swayze passed away. 

Considering Swayze is Road House in basically every sense of the word, a follow-up to that film seems even more pointless than the recent remake.
