20 Upcoming Movies Absolutely NOBODY Wants

Netflix's metrics tell us that a whole lot of people have watched their action blockbuster Red Notice since it released in November 2021, but of the apparently several-hundred million people who've seen it, how many have any lasting memory of it at all?

Despite the intriguing triumvirate of Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson, and Gal Gadot, this eye-wateringly expensive $200 million direct-to-streaming tentpole came and went in the blink of an eye, its utterly generic script pulverising any potential fun into a flavourless, swiftly forgotten gruel.

All the same, Netflix was bullish on Red Notice as an IP, and initial plans were made to shoot Red Notice 2 and 3 back-to-back to accommodate the especially busy schedules of Reynolds and Johnson.

Now to be fair, we've not heard much about these sequels over the last few years - in 2023, Gadot confirmed that the films were still happening and she'd read the script for Red Notice 2, but that's about it.

As of 2026, the pieces haven't quite come together yet. And frankly, if everyone was just too busy to make it happen, how many people would actually care?
