20 Upcoming Movies Absolutely NOBODY Wants

When there's no IP left to mine, we get new movies about the IP apparently, as is what's up next for the Rocky franchise.

I Play Rocky will depict the tumultuous production of the classic underdog sports film that made Sylvester Stallone's career, with Anthony Ippolito starring as Sly while the wider cast includes Stephan James, AnnaSophia Robb, Matt Dillon, Toby Kebbell, Tracy Letts, and Jay Duplass.

Now, the cast is certainly solid and we've all seen how great movies about filmmaking can be - The Disaster Artist, anyone? - but are there really many folk hankering for a tell-all on the creation of Rocky?

Stallone has told the story of how Rocky came to be many, many times over the decades, and so this feels less like a story that "needed" to be told than Amazon MGM desperately trying to remind everyone that Rocky turns 50 this year.

Expect a typical Wikipedia Page Biopic, and if it's any better than that consider it a win. 

But with screenwriter Peter Gamble's minimal, unremarkable credits and director Peter Farrelly (Dumb and Dumber, Green Book) touting a wildly inconsistent filmography, it's tough to have much hope.
