1. Jack of Spades
Jack of Spades is the latest film from Joel Coen, which is all you should need to know in order to be excited.
It's been said that Coen's film is a gothic mystery story, which was shot in Scotland late last year where sets transformed the locations to resemble the 1800s.
The confirmed cast so far includes the fantastic likes of Josh O'Connor, Frances McDormand (wife of Joel), Lesley Manville, and Damian Lewis.
But that's literally all we've got - even the usual rumourmongers haven't floated a potential logline of any kind, though would it surprise anyone if Jack of Spades was a twisted serial killer yarn?
Given that Joel has proven himself to be the sturdier solo-working Coen brother - this following up his terrific 2021 film The Tragedy of Macbeth - it's easy to have faith that, whatever Jack of Spades actually ends up being, it's going to be great.
