October is the next film from the great Jeremy Saulnier (Green Room, Rebel Ridge), and all we know is that it's an action-horror film set during Halloween and revolves around a fugitive who is involved in a deadly pursuit through the wilderness.
It will meanwhile star the likes of Cory Michael Smith, Chase Sui Wonders, Sophie Wilde, Stephen Root, James Badge Dale, and Imogen Poots.
October was shot under the working title "Moustache," which frankly doesn't really tell us anything else, but everything we've seen in Saulnier's previous films suggests that he can do a whole lot with such a stripped-down premise.
Whatever he's cooking up, it caught the attention of A24, which is both producing and distributing the film.
It wrapped shooting back in December and will hopefully release by the end of this year - presumably in October, because why would it possibly release in any other month?
