Venom: 10 Scrapped Scenes And Characters Revealed By New Concept Art

Even though many of the moments and characters here didn't make it into the final cut of Venom, it's easy enough to see how they inspired what did end up on screen. For example, in this piece, the Carnage and Venom symbiotes can be seen fighting each other with either Carlton Drake or Cletus Kasady unfortunate enough to be stuck in the middle.

In the version of the movie that ended up in cinemas, a scene similar to this took place when Eddie was fighting Carlton; as they exchanged blows, so too did their "other" halves, and that was a clever way of emphasising that Venom and Riot hated each other as much as the two humans did.

Here, though, it seems the plan was to have this human host almost torn apart by the effort it took to contain Venom and Carnage as they battled for control, and it makes for an undeniably exciting visual. Unfortunately, it seems this just didn't fit the direction Sony wanted to take the final battle in, and while it's possible Venom: Let There Be Carnage Will explore a similar battle, don't bank on it.
