3. Ravencroft Institute
Ravencroft Institute for the Criminally Insane was first introduced in Spider-Man Unlimited #1, which kicked off Maximum Carnage. This has fans speculating how much the upcoming movie will draw inspiration from this series.
In the comics, Cletus is brought to Ravencroft after an earlier rampage as Carnage. Doctors believe that when Cletus says he has a monster living in his blood he's speaking figuratively. They don't have much time to be surprised by the truth, though, because Carnage quickly mass slaughters the Institute workers, and then rescues fellow inmate Shriek.
It looks like Ravencroft will be home to movie Shriek, but the trailer shows us the notorious serial killer is being kept at San Quentin State Prison. This is where movie Eddie met the man while working as a journalist. This brings up questions of how Shriek and Carnage will meet, but also what other elements from Maximum Carnage might be incorporated into the film.
Will Carnage and Shriek team up with other villains? Will Shriek use her powers to turn the general populace of the city bloodthirsty? Will Carnage try to fake his own death? Guess we'll have to wait and see.
