Vin Diesel: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked

2. Chris Varick - Boiler Room

Chris Varick Boiler Room is a little known and criminally underrated film contrasting the lifestyles between gamblers and stock brokers whilst simultaneously hammering home the point that they€™re one and the same, just on different sides of the morality spectrum. The film received quite a few glowing reviews and is another late 90€™s film that showcased there is more to Vin Diesel besides meathead dialogue and brainless action Vin played Chris Varick, one of the few partner stockbrokers that poster character Seth (Giovanni Ribisi) trusts. In the grand scheme of the film, Vin€™s character isn€™t totally necessary to the plot but the film involves him spewing racial slurs and cracking skulls. It€™s not drastically out of his element but his overall presence certainly adds to the film. Perhaps Vin should accept similar roles in the future in an attempt at branching out.
