Somewhat of a diamond in the rough, The Iron Giant is an unforgettable tale about a lonesome child befriending a robot also seeking affection. It might appear that because the Iron Giant doesn€™t actually speak that the role is somewhat of a walk in the park but it€™s not. Making a viewer care about an animated character comes from a multitude of aspects including artistic design but above all else, the voice whether it€™s actual dialogue or random noises. Although The Iron Giant received rave reviews and unanimous praise, it was an unfortunate box office bomb only raking in $30 million from a $70 million budget.
