WandaVision: 10 Biggest Questions The MCU Must Answer

2. Will Wanda Be The Villain Of The Multiverse Of Madness?

This was the big set up at the end of WandaVision's final episode. Wanda is now embracing her new found power as the Scarlet Witch, and is studying the Darkhold, seemingly gearing up to utilise the kind of dark magic that Doctor Strange is sworn to protect the world from.

Wanda Maximoff and Stephen Strange have now been put on a collision course, but is there actually anything the Sorcerer Supreme will be able to do or say to stop Wanda from trying to bring her children back, if that is indeed what brings them together?

If it comes to a fight, the Scarlet Witch has the greater power according to Agatha Harkness, which could potentially lead to her ultimately being the villain of the Multiverse of Madness. It wouldn't be the first time one of Doctor Strange's allies turned villainous after Baron Mordo's change at the end of the first movie.

Wanda certainly could have the power within her to open up the multiverse itself, and she will almost certainly fight Strange at some point, but does this necessarily mean that she will be the main villain? Could there instead be a greater threat waiting in the wings as many thought would be the case in WandaVision?

Will she ultimately see the error of her ways and put the Darkhold down before the movie is out, or could she ultimately become the new big bad of the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving forward?
