WandaVision: 10 Biggest Questions The MCU Must Answer

1. Why Didn't Doctor Strange Investigate The Hex?

When Wanda broke down and created both the Hex and a genuinely vibranium version of Vision, it sent a ripple throughout the magical world. Agatha Harkness sensed the power that had just been used in Westview, similarly to how Earth became ground zero for a cosmic force of unprecedented proportions when Thanos snapped his fingers.

Agatha immediately went to investigate, but curiously, Doctor Strange didn't. He surely would have felt the same power surge as Agatha, and as it is his job to protect the world from magical threats, it just doesn't make sense that he didn't at least try to see what was happening.

Of course, there could be any number of reasons for this that simply are yet to be explained. With the likes of Dormammu, Kaecilius, and Thanos, the MCU has merely scratched the surface of the kind of threats the Sorcerer Supreme must face, so it's naive to think that he would just be sitting around the Sanctum Sanctorum waiting for something to happen.

Chances are that when Wanda created the Hex, Doctor Strange had something else on his plate. Something that hopefully will be explained in the Multiverse of Madness. This is surely more likely than the Sorcerer Supreme either not noticing what was happening, or not caring enough to investigate what was going on just one state over from his home.
