6. Monkey Sh*t

For all of the advances in simian intellect and their inventiveness that leads to 90% of the escape plan being enacted, when they're faced with the seemingly insurmountable issue of the flooded escape tunnel they have to rely on a hilariously primitive solution.

They literally fling their poo at one of the guards to make him come down to the cage and take him out to steal his keys.

It's hilarious to see that sort of solution in a film about monkeys evolving to be man's equal, and it's a genuinely funny moment in the midst of a tense extended sequence.
