Watch: 'Avengers Assemble' Clip With Black Widow And Agent Coulson!

With a little over three weeks to go before Marvel's superhero super mashup, 'The Avengers' (Avengers Assemble over here in the UK) is unleashed upon the world, it's about high time that Marvel kicked the marketing into overdrive with the release of this action packed first clip and needless to say, it's a doozy. Featuring Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow in the middle of an "Interrogation" with some pesky military types, Agent Coulson informs her that a certain Agent Barton has been compromised. Cue lots of kicking, and flying about with a chair leaving poor old Coulson holding patiently on the other line. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCqfncpIjJM From the looks of things, it seems as if this clip features early on in the film. Is this Black Widow's introduction that Whedon himself has been raving about? Johannsson seems to have lost none of her bad assery from 'Iron Man 2', plus it's great to see Clark Gregg providing the same dead pan humor that has made his character so memorable throughout these movies. My guess is that from all these big superhero types, my money's on Agent Coulson stealing the show right from under them. Going off this clip alone, I think Whedon seems to have nailed the tone of the film perfectly, infusing it with a perfect blend of high kicking action and trademark wit that we have come to expect from Whedon over the years and has made some of TV so memorable. Let's hope the rest of the film turns out the same. I didn't think I could be any more excited for this film. Guess I was wrong. So what do you think? Excited yet?
