The screening will be followed by the spectacular annual firework display and the night promises to celebrate the end to a remarkable week of sailing. I love the seafaring adventure genre and especially Master and Commander, which is such an authentically beautiful made picture, one of the best the genre has ever produced and because of author Patrick OBrians stunning collection of novels involving further compelling Aubrey adventures, the blueprint for a successful trilogy is of course already there, begging to be made and we think you can make it happen here. Star Russell Crowe mentioned on twitter late last year that it was up to us fans of the 2o03 film to demand a sequel he so desperately wants to make and it's our opinion the world needs a Master and Commander series. Attending screenings like this, spreading the word on how much fan demand there is for future entries in this franchise is the only way to go.
