Believe it or not, a feature film adaptation of animated web series Skibidi Toilet is happening, because reasons.
The series, which chronicles the war between toilets with human heads that emerge from them and humanoids with electronic devices for heads, is an undeniable Gen-Z pop-culture phenomenon, and yet hardly one that seemed like a natural fit for the feature-length treatment.
After all the charm, if any, lies in its brevity, with most episodes lasting a few minutes at most, and one can only imagine how torturous it could be at, say, 90 minutes.
Last year Michael Bay was said to be directing the film though later denied this claim. Either way, Skibidi Toilet reportedly began production in May 2025, though we've not heard much about it at all in the year-plus since.
Hilariously, Paramount Pictures President Adam Goodman is apparently enthusiastic about Skibidi Toilet's potential as Hollywood's next big IP. Lord have mercy.
