What 2018's Oscar Winners Are Doing Next
4. Jordan Peele
Career So Far: Alongside partner Keagan-Michael Key, 39-year old Peele rose to prominence as a TV comedy actor and writer over the past decade, primarily on sketch show series Key and Peele. Later the duo moved to the big screen with 2016's Keanu.
2018 Oscar Win For: Best Original Screenplay for Get Out, the socially-conscious horror movie which was Peele's first solo screenwriting credit as well as his directorial debut.
What's Next: The Oscar was really just the cherry on top after the massive critical and commercial success of Get Out, which instantly made Peele one of the hottest commodities in Hollywood.
He's known to have been courted for a variety of major films, including the long-in development live-action remake of Akira; instead, he will next make another as-yet untitled original film due March 2019. Little has been revealed about the film, but it is expected to be in a similar vein to Get Out, which Peele describes as a 'social thriller.'
On top of which, Peele also has an acting role in upcoming horror movie Abruptio.
