What 2018's Oscar Winners Are Doing Next
3. Gary Oldman
Career So Far: The very-nearly 60-year old British actor rose to prominence in the 1980s before becoming one the premier bad guys actors of the 1990s with Bram Stoker's Dracula, Leon and Air Force One. More recently he's had key roles in the Harry Potter series and the Dark Knight trilogy.
2018 Oscar Win For: What many felt was a long overdue Best Actor Academy Award for Joe Wright's World War II drama Darkest Hour, in which he donned heavy make-up to portray Winston Churchill.
What's Next: The prolific actor already has a few more roles in the can, including horror movie Mary and action thriller Hunter Killer. However, it's also worth noting that recent years have seen Oldman struggling to get Flying Horse - his first directorial project since 1997's acclaimed but gruelling Nil By Mouth - into production.
Might this success help Oldman get Flying Horse off the ground at last? We can but hope, as a number of big names have been linked to the film, including Ralph Fiennes, Benedict Cumberbatch and Amanda Seyfried.
