What Captain Marvel's Cast Look Like In The Comics
5. Talos
In The Comics:
Although the Talos of the comics looks just like the one seen in the film, there are a few differences to note. For starters, Talos is not a hero in the comics. In fact, the Skrulls themselves are presented as another side of the same war-mongering coin that the Kree subscribe to, and Talos was one of the fiercest of all.
He also has some cybernetic elements, but the most interesting thing about Talos is that he can't actually shapeshift in the comics. He's one of the only Skrulls who can't, so he adopts a fierce persona in order to compensate, unlike the Talos of the film, who is pretty much the king of extraterrestrial banter.
In The Film:
Ben Mendehlson portrays Talos in Captain Marvel, except in this case, the character is almost completely changed from his comics self. He retains the iconic green-chinned look all Skrulls have in the comics, but there are no cybernetic augments, and he's actually quite a cheery fellow too.
In the film, Talos heads to Earth so that he can complete the work that Mar-Vell was trying to accomplish when she was killed. He also wishes to reunite with his family - which he does - with the film ending on Carol escorting the stranded Skrulls to their yet-to-be-determined new home.
