What The Avengers: Infinity War Cast Look Like In The Comics
7. Spider-Man
In the Comics:
One of Marvel's most iconic and memorable characters, if not the most iconic of the solo heroes, Spider-Man was unique in the beginning as a teenage superhero, learning and growing over time as Marvel's most human super-powered hero.
Already an adult, he fought Thanos to help save the world, at one point even webbing his face to distract him, as well as getting multiple hits on the Mad Titan alongside his team.
His Iron Spider outfit debuted in Civil War, much later in the comics.
In the Film:
Still young and marginally experienced, Peter fights alongside Tony Stark in his new Iron Spider suit, accompanying Tony to Titan with Doctor Strange and helping restrain the Mad Titan in their plans to remove his Gauntlet, saving multiple Guardians in the process. In the end, however, he's one of the many casualties of Thanos' culling, turning to dust in Tony Stark's arms in one of the film's most heart-wrenching scenes.
He's played by Tom Holland, first appearing in Captain America: Civil War, then his own solo film. He effectively captures the essence of the original teenage Peter Parker, though updated for modern audiences, his suits infused with Stark Tech to match his MCU origins.
