What The Avengers: Infinity War Cast Look Like In The Comics

In the Comics:

Coming from an alternate universe where all her people were slaughtered, Gamora was rescued by Thanos and brought to the main comics universe, raised by Thanos as a weapon.

Though largely loyal to the Mad Titan she turned on him after finding out he meant to sacrifice half the world to appease Lady Death. He killed her, but a piece of her soul was found and stored in the Soul Gem by Adam Warlock.

In the Film:

Thanos's favourite daughter, whom he adopted when he killed half her planet, Gamora set out to thwart Thanos's plans, asking Peter Quill to kill her to conceal the whereabouts of the Soul Stone. However, Thanos is able to take her, and force her to reveal its location by torturing Nebula in front of her.

When it's revealed that the Soul Stone requires a sacrifice of a loved one, Thanos sacrifices her on Vormir to gain the Soul Stone. An image of her as a child later appears to Thanos after he successfully wipes out half the universe.

She's played by actress-dancer, Zoe Saldana. Though comics Gamora has had many different looks, the only visual resemblance both incarnations have is her green skin and dark hair.
