One of Marvel's most iconic heroes, Thor, God of Thunder, was once a disabled doctor named Donald Blake who could transform into the god. Thor Infinity War Bio
Marvel Studios

After losing his loved ones, his hammer, and his home, Thor in Infinity War is subject to more suffering, losing more of his people, as well as his brother. This gives him the drive to fight Thanos head on, going with Rocket and Groot to Nidavellir to have Eitri forge a "Thanos-killing" weapon. The Dwarf King provides him the axe Stormbreaker, and he uses it to portal back to Earth and help wipe out Thanos's attacking forces in Wakanda.

Though he's able to land a killing blow, he fails to stop Thanos from snapping his fingers, ending half of all life in the universe.

Since the first Thor film, he's been played by Chris Hemsworth. His first costume strongly resembled his comics counterpart, but his look in Ragnarok and Infinity War is very different, his hair shorn and clothing and skin bearing scars from his experiences.
