What The Avengers: Infinity War Cast Look Like In The Comics
26. Corvus Glaive
In the Comics:
Corvus Glaive was Thanos's right hand, who demanded tributes from the planets he razed.
His glaive's blade could split atoms, and therefore slice through any material, including the unbreakable hides and armours of many heroes. During one event when Thanos was absent for a time, he attempted to form his own Black Order, but eventually Thanos returned and defeated him.
Even if he's killed, so long as his blade remains unbroken, he is able to regenerate, though even the blade's destruction didn't stop him from coming back in some instances.
In the Film:
As one of Thanos's Children, Corvus Glaive was sent alongside Proxima Midnight to retrieve Vision's Mind Stone. His glaive was able to prevent Vision from phasing, and his enhanced strength and speed allowed him to nearly subdue the android, thwarted when he was stabbed by Black Widow and forced into retreat.
He returns later in a sneak attack to retrieve Vision's stone, only to be thwarted by Steve Rogers, and by Vision stabbing him through the chest with his own blade. He's played in motion capture by Michael James Shaw, his appearance accurate to his comics counterpart, if slightly more detailed.
