What Your Favourite Arnold Schwarzenegger Movie Says About You

Jingle All The Way

jingle_all_the_wayThe Movie: This film is remembered as one of Schwarzenegger€™s worst comedies, but it doesn€™t stop it from being repeated every Christmas. It€™s actually pretty good, and anyone who went to see a film about a man spending Christmas Eve hunting down an action figure in the shops were probably expecting too much if they were hoping for anything more then what this is. Indeed the film was in fact socially relevant as the year prior to its release had seen millions of Christmas shoppers desperately trying to get a Buzz Lightyear in a similar fashion to Schwarzenegger€™s quest to get the last Turbo Man. The film has some good laughs and it€™s snappy pace mean it never gets dull to watch. The film does suffer from a few needlessly Looney Tunes style moments when a cop who keeps running into Schwarzenegger is blown up by a mail bomb only to have soot on his face and frizzy hair as a result. Also the entire finale of the film which sees Arnold mistaken for an actor playing Turbo Man in a parade is ridiculous and must be accepted for what it is rather then any hopes that it will fit in with logic. jingle-all-the-way-originalWhat It Says About You: You do own a Buzz Lightyear. You do not own a Turbo Man. This could well also be the only Arnold Schwarzenegger movie that you do own on DVD. If this is your favourite then you probably do like Arnie, but are not that fussed about his films. When people mention Arnold to you, you€™ll often reference this movie back to them only to be met with a blank stare with the tiniest hint of disgust. Soundbite: €œThis is my favourite Arnie movie hands down. I€™m not a big fan of his, but I did quite enjoy that one where he€™s twins with Danny Devito. What€™s that one called?€ Favourite Non Arnie Movies: Toy Story, Home Alone, Baby€™s Day Out.
