What Your Favourite Batman Movie Says About You

4. Batman & Robin (1997)

batman_and_robin_1997_685x385The Movie: Batman creator Bob Kane died a year after Batman & Robin came out, and though no formal link has been made between his death and the release of this movie, we're pretty sure that they're connected in some way. The first and only Batman movie to feature George Clooney as the Dark Knight is the worst of the bunch: an overly long, painfully unfunny follow-up to Batman Forever that takes all the worst elements from that movie and heightens them one notch above "absolutely ridiculous." Embarrassing for every single person involved, it's a wonder that George Clooney ever became the star he is today with this thing staining his filmography. What It Says About You: You like to think of yourself as the most ironic person you know. Though you're fairly knowledgeable when it comes to cinema, you love to claim that this is "definitely the best Batman film," simply to gauge people's reactions and mess with their heads. You enjoy purposely debating the worth of the film and will often claim that it contains "George Clooney's finest performance." Now and again you'll see this in the TV schedules and get really excited, not that you'd tell anybody. You also like magic. If none of that applies, you're probably telling people that this is your favourite Batman film, though you're probably thinking of something else. Soundbite: "This movie is so bad that it's good. Which means that it's actually good. Isn't that, like, irony at its best?" Favourite Movies: Con Air (ironically), Last Action Hero (ironically)
