What Your Favourite Star Wars Movie Says About You

7. Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)

star-wars-the-clone-wars-20The Movie: Yup! Bet you thought we€™d forgotten this one, didn€™t you? That€™s right, a movie with the Star Wars name was released in theatres not five years ago, and most people have already wiped it from their memory. Clone Wars tells the story of Anakin, Yoda, and some Twi€™lek-looking lady, as they lead/battle a bunch of clones on the blue, hexagonal planet of Catan-tooine. Meanwhile, Obi Wan spirals into a beardy depression, having lost the razor blade Qui-Gon gave him for his birthday€ or something. I don€™t know, I never saw it. I€™m literally basing this entire description on the poster. It€™s Your Favourite Because: You are a being not of this earth, yet you are known through the ages, spoken of only in hushed tones, and fearful whispers. Fires grow dim as human tongues feebly grope and stumble trying to name you, as though it were possible to comprehend the endless unknown. Beezlebub, Chichevache, Old One - you are all these things, and yet none of them. Attempting to understand your whims is to prime the gnashing fangs of madness for a feast. Your wants and desires are not bound by simple concepts of reason, and logic: they exist because they are. You are an anomaly in space and time, a stranger to all of creation, the alien grain of sand that warps reality€™s mirror. You. Should. Not. Be. Or you just really like The Clone Wars cartoon that the movie was created as a launch platform for. It€™s probably that. Favourite Star Wars Accessories: Anything related to The Clone Wars cartoon, which hopefully includes the original Genndy Tartakovsky one Soundbite: €œYou'll be surprised: TheClone Wars is really good. Stop laughing. I'm serious." Favourite Movies: The Clone Wars, The Clone WarsDo any of these descriptions sum up you or any fellow Star Wars fans you may know? If it can be written about, Sam will write about it. He's got a degree in biology for some reason, probably because The Thing gave him the impression that wildlife research is mostly about getting drunk with Kurt Russell, and using flamethrowers (it isn't). He lives in Toronto, and almost met Dan Aykroyd that one time.
