Wonder Woman: 10 Reasons To Be Excited
5. Wonder Woman Might Be Bisexual In The DCEU Too
Technically this might not be related to the first (fingers crossed) Wonder Woman, but Gal Gadot recently stated that she'd like to have Halle Berry as Diana Prince's love interest in a sequel. She was responding to a question regarding the character's now-canonical bisexuality in the comics universe, as confirmed by new Wonder Woman writer Greg Rucka and hotly debated by an internet with clearly not a lot else to do.
It makes a lot of sense, though: if you were raised and lived in a same-sex society your whole life, you'd have a much different conception of gender dynamics and certainly wouldn't conform to heteronormative ideals, so same-sex relationships would likely be the norm.
While it seems obvious that Diana will be developing a relationship with Steve Trevor (as she does in the comics), it's not out of the question to assume that she's had previous lovers on Themyscira. This would be a bold choice for a mainstream blockbuster, but surely it's about time our superheroes stopped conforming to a single kind of sexuality, right?
