Wonder Woman: 10 Villains Who Should Appear In The Movie

7. Hades

The Villain: As the mythological god of the Greek Underworld, Hades gets a bad rap and the DC Universe he fulfills a similar function to myth and shares a tenuous relationship with Wonder Woman.

Though he certainly has a proclivity for doing villainous things, he€™s typically more of a force that€™s simply seeking to achieve his own goals amidst a larger conflict. This often leads to him playing both sides of the fence, helping both Wonder Woman and the foes she opposes.

Why He Should Be In The Film: Hades's position with the Amazons is extremely contentious because they guard a doorway to his realm. Thus any hostility towards them immediately involves him and vice versa. This creates an absorbing backdrop for the character and one that could easily explain how he'd be included in Diana's adventures.

Ultimately, Hades is so engrossing because he brings out a darker side to Diana. Despite not being her most direct or malicious foe, his mere presence often means that she is having to make some sort of moral sacrifice for the greater good, which certainly make for a more complex villain.
