Wonder Woman 1984: First Look At Pedro Pascal's "Villain" Revealed
Strong Maxwell Lord vibes...
Could this be the face of the new villain in Wonder Woman 1984?
We've already had a big suggestion that Pedro Pascal is actually playing a bad guy in Patty Jenkins' upcoming sequel - and further suggestion that he might even be a God in disguise again - and now we've got a first look at him in character thanks to the director.
Jenkins posted the first-look at Pascal's presumably rich and famous figure on Twitter and it's hard not to feel a strong Young Trump/JR Ewing vibe about him...
That suit is as sharp as Wonder Woman's sword. And as for that playful rascally look to the camera... he just screams fabulous villain. Nobody looks like that in the 1980s and isn't from the Gordon Gecko school of greed and evil.
So could he be playing Maxwell Lord, as rumours have suggested already? He certainly looks like he could be, that's for certain. He would fit the businessman backstory (as well as the wealth bracket) and there is something in his eyes that suggests he could do a mind control powered individual well.
But we'll have to wait and see.
