Wonder Woman Review: 10 Best Moments

3. Steve Teaches Diana How To Dance

Wonder Woman Gal Gadot Chris Pine
Warner Bros.

After liberating the European village of Veld from the Germans, Diana and Steve celebrate with some hearty drinks in another surprisingly excellent character-driven scene which sees Steve teaching Diana how to dance. It quickly becomes clear during this moment that Diana is becoming seduced not only by Steve's charm, but the ways of humanity in general.

It's a simple moment but incredibly effective, and though Warner Bros. has a habit of chopping their movies to pieces, it's a relief that Jenkins was clearly allowed to just let the scene play out as intended. Counter to prior DCEU movies, there's a real sense of humanity at the movie's core.
