7. Colours In The DC Universe

One of the major critiques of the DC movie universe so far is how saturated the colour palette is. Superman's bright blue costume is now only a few shades lighter than Batman's dark grey ensemble and both Man of Steel and Batman V Superman were not the colourful comic book outings audiences expect.

Love it or hate it, this Wonder Woman trailer has used this aesthetic, but with a creative twist. The remote island of Themyscira is a wonderfully vibrant paradise that looks nothing like we've seen so far in the DCEU. Comparatively the World War I era Britain goes back to the drab motif we've gotten used to.

Giving the two 'worlds' such distinction is a very smart move and could even convert some of the haters still not on board with what the DCEU has looked like so far.
