5. A Super Homage

The trailer is packed with big moments that shoot straight into your eye-holes like an Amazonian arrow, but one of the smaller moments occurs about half way through this second trailer.

The moment comes when a pencil-moustache sporting punk takes a shot at Chris Pine's Steve Trevor. Surely he isn't going to die!? Thankfully the bullet is deflected by Diana's bracelet in a delightful homage to a similar bullet catching moment in the first Christopher Reeve Superman movie.

A fleeting moment in an action-packed trailer, the homage is a great little wink to comic book movie fans and perhaps suggests some of the influence on the movie.
