4. The Military Is Involved Or Responsible
Unless this is a movie produced by Michael Bay, I dont see this turning out to be good for the military, whether it be our own military or from another country. In just a 35 seconds time span starting from the first sign of panic from the police officer at the 15 seconds mark in the first trailer, you see the military already scrambling jets in the air and blockading half of the street where Brad Pitts character and his family were stuck in traffic followed by armed military personnel whizzing away in a helicopter around the city. I dont think that is just coincidence that there happened to be armored military vehicles in the vicinity right when all hell breaks loose. Either they knew about it and tried to contain it, or they were responsible for the outbreak and they are trying to clean up their mess. Even in the second trailer, we see Brad Pitts character and his family having breakfast while watching a news bulletin about marshal law. More times than none, the military is usually not shown in a favorable light in movies involving zombies. Check out
28 Days Later and any movie from the
Resident Evil franchise for further proof. They are either the expendable background to help move the plot along or they are the main antagonist that started this whole zombie fiasco (Im looking at you
Return of the Living Dead and probably the whole series in that franchise as well.) Im not saying they are the main cause of everything hitting the fan in this movie, but their track record doesnt look too favorably in the other movies in this genre so lets hope a little sunlight is shined their way this time so that they save the world. In the end, there is no way of preventing the inevitable whether it be nature, human error or something else when it comes to zombies, which brings us to
