Halloween III: Season of the Witch is a hella weird movie any way you slice it, given that it revolves around a company, Silver Shamrock, which manufactures Halloween masks containing fragments of Stonehenge.

Moreover, these masks are designed to kill the wearer as part of a ritual sacrifice when a certain Silver Shamrock commercial is aired. What the hell, sure.

But because that's somehow not insane enough, Silver Shamrock also has an army of android lackeys, and the film climaxes with an even more deranged twist when protagonist Dr. Dan Challis' (Tom Atkins) love interest Ellie Grimbridge (Stacey Nelkin) is kidnapped and turned into an android herself.

Dan is reunited with Ellie only for her to attack him, soon enough revealing her to be an android replicant, the implication being that the real Ellie has been killed.

Halloween III is a fundamentally silly film at the best of times, yet the android reveal was ultimately one step too goofy, especially with how abruptly it's just thrown out there.
