20 Recent Movies EVERYONE Knew Would Suck
1. Hell House LLC: Lineage
The quality of the Hell House LLC franchise has been all over the map, but in the very least the first four movies stayed true to the cult horror series' found footage ethos.
But for the fifth and apparently final installment, Hell House LLC: Lineage, filmmaker Stephen Cognetti controversially decided to ditch the found footage style altogether and adopt a more conventional cinematic aesthetic.
This naturally rubbed many fans up the wrong way from the jump, what with found footage being such an inextricable part of the series' core identity and general popularity.
And it sure didn't help that the final film didn't really do much to justify the stylistic switch-up, nor did it offer much of a concrete resolution to the overarching story.
In fact quite the opposite, as despite being billed as a finale to the Hell House franchise, Lineage largely ended up raising more questions while solving truly little.
